Brief Overview
As a guest instructor through the RI School of Real Estate, I had the opportunity to design a custom course that takes a look at Purchase and Sales Agreements from the point of view of a practicing attorney.
This class is going to be a fun mix of different elements:
- We are going to focus on actionable, practical takeaways that you can use immediately to be a more effective agent and successfully close more deals.
- We’ll look at some real cases, so you’ll be able to see exactly how the law is really made (not just a summary of a summary of what someone thinks it is…).
- We’re going to “unpack” a standard purchase and sale agreement to explore why each element is actually in there.
- And of course we’ll brush up on some legal concepts you might not have heard of before, such as “stare decisis,” “equitable conversion,” and “anticipatory repudiation”
Teaching and education has always been a passion of mine, and I’m excited to be able to channel that into the work I already love doing in real estate law.
I hope to see you on the 21st!
P.S. If the day/time or location doesn’t work for you but you’re interested in the class, follow up with me to suggest options for future classes that might work better for you.
